A microbrewery and lemonade maker with a restaurant in the former church of Battel. A thoroughly Mechelen project by the city brewery Het Anker. And a unique place where experience is central and various functions come together. A welcoming challenge indeed.

Challenge accepted!

Nachtraven got to work with the interior plan of the Mechelen-based firm Kennes+Elegeert and made some significant changes.

We conducted a complete functional analysis of the interior, literally moved the bar from the back of the space to the middle, and created a store-in-store corner. The table layout, positions of loose and fixed furniture, and the terrace design today bear a clear Nachtraven stamp.

Brand Experience, Flows, and Profitability at Batteliek

Why? For a better flow of visitors and staff and an experience that will be talked about for a long time.

In collaboration with the graphic designers at De Bemanning, we also designed a look and feel that perfectly matches our spatial interventions.

This results in optimally functioning spaces and higher profitability. Simple as that! With these interventions, an unobstructed view of the brewing hall, that now occupies the place of the altar, was created.

The partially recycled materials we used in various places in Batteliek now come into their own much better.
